Drive to airport

It was diwali eve and i had just completed shopping for my sister and her in laws. We had been to Bangalore central on outer ring road. Drive to this place is always tough with lots of traffic.

One of my friend Ashish told me to follow a BMTC volvo while entering traffic on outer ring road. Invariably you will cross it faster. While i was just thinking of him and his advice , he called me :-) i thought even he must have been some where near and saw me following the volvo and hence called. But it wasnt the case.

We completed shopping , i bought for myself a pull over , very much essential but i took it for style :-P. After having dinner at home i felt like going on a long drive to some place and drink coffee there. I couldnt think of any better place then Bangalore airport. I used to go there with my friends once in a while whenever i feel like drinking coffee.

We started around 12 at night for 35 Kms drive to airport. I was really a fun drive apart from music. All boring songs where aired on FM and my USB drive got corrupted which means i couldn't listen to my collection of songs. I had to listen to these boring songs on FM.

Airport at night is really a site to watch. I love things when they are lit up fully and airport was fully lit at night. The road from NH to airport terminal was beautifully lit up with sodium lamps, yellow in color. Will they be up whole night? need to find out. Waste of energy , but who cares. I makes me feel good to seeing it.

There is a coffee day in airport but we choose to go to the normal vending machine coffee. It was really yummy. The ambiance was really good. People travelling out of Bangalore and some coming back.

I like to drop people to bus stand,railway stations or airports. I dont know why i like it so much. But it feels great to see off people going to their destinations.
